In this final session, families predicted how far their car would travel on their
ramps they created last week. Different methods were used to then test each
car's movement. Some families used force to get their cars started while others
used the downhill slope of the ramp. After doing three trial runs, the families
compared their results with their predictions and shared what they discovered.
Everyone had a great time as they compared their ramps and cars with one another.
The evening concluded with the families receiving several wonderful gifts courtesy
of WQED. These included their matchbox test car and ramp creation, the book,
Rosie Revere Engineer, a family memory journal, and a drawstring bag.
